Launching a blog has been one of my biggest personal goals, as I have always been fond of writing. Through words, I am taken about into a new world and sometimes it gets mixed up with my realities. However, it is in the stories I create and in the stories I tell that makes everything I see more vivid in its color. I have always found myself in love with writings of others, and now I have gained the confidence to share beyond the inner circle I have that hears about my life.

I started this blog because I wanted a platform for me to share things in my life and allow people in my life to be follow my journey. This has been a long-time goal, but it took some time and a lot of courage to really say my stories are valuable enough to share. Writing has always been an outlet for me to express my emotions and experiences, giving me time to center my mind and reflect on the blessings in my life.
With time, I grew to understand and develop that the purpose behind my blog was more than just my outlet. I created a space for me to be more vulnerable and for others who need a person to look towards (in some way). As a someone with so many social identities I hold, my blog is a way to share my narrative and rhetoric living in a world that is not made for my success.
My blog is a space where others are able to sit down and read what I have done and how I’ve felt and receive inspiration that everyone has a story to tell – and it should be told. Whether that’s to a public forum or private venting to someone we trust, it’s knowing there is an impact. We all have the right to be our authentic selves, because we never know who is being impacted by our story.
This blog begins with Appreciation Posts for those who have created a tremendous impact on me in the time I spent at UC Irvine. Following these appreciation posts will be more stories to tell about my adventures, growth, and following the paths that lead to achieving my bigger dreams. I hope that with the launch of my blog, I have your support in following me to the days leading up to the end of my Undergraduate career and what lies beyond the bounds of UCI for me.
This adventure primarily focuses on my career, because that’s what I’ve decided to commit to – my personal development. While we’re at it, there may also be some vulnerable stories, reflection pieces, and whatever I may be inspired to write. The blog begins with the end of my UCI journey appreciating everyone who has significantly impacted my life in those 4 years. We just pick up from there.
