I know I’ve said it a lot in these past two days, but only God can really say how much I love you and how grateful I am that you stood behind me to catch me if I fell, stood next to me to cheer me on, and stood in front of me to guide me. The final Appreciation Post goes to the one person that means more to me than the universe… my Mom.
We’ve always stressed about whether or not we’d be able to make it not just getting into college, but making it all the way to graduation. Money was always a factor in the challenges we faced, but God has truly blessed us in helping us get to where we stand today… you have a daughter you can call a college graduate.
Through all the times where it got the hardest for me and I slipped up sometimes, you never ever made me feel like I wasn’t good enough — even when I doubted myself. Instead you always knew the right words to say to tell me just how capable I am, and I just have to keep going.
We worked together through four stressful but happy and rewarding four years. We were always unsure that we’d be able to do as much as we did, but here we are. Thank you for always being there and for loving me. I hope that I’ve made you proud of me for all that I’ve accomplished in these past few years.
Now that this chapter of my life has closed, I can’t wait to start working on the next chapter with you.
I love you Mom.
